POINTS COLLECTION

• Points will be awarded to any transaction made by a member at the Suria KLCC outlet. EXCEPT transaction from Kinokuniya Malaysia Webstore, Deposits, Gift Card, Corporate Purchase, O' Coffee Club Xpress and MPO concert tickets.
• Every Ten Ringgit Malaysia (RM 10.00) spent by a member in a transaction is equivalent to ONE (1) point (RM 10.00 = 1 point).
• Each transaction receipt shall entitle only one (1) member to accumulate points.
• Any points collected from a transaction must be redeemed within 12 months from the time the points were earned OR before the membership expires, whichever comes first.
• Members shall be entitled to earn points for each transaction receipt based on the integer value per transaction.

MEMBERSHIP DETAILS

• The KPC member app (with an active internet connection/electronic communication) must be presented to the cashier at the point of purchase by a member for the transaction at the store to ensure that the spending amount is recorded and accumulated. Any failure to do so shall result in the amount spent not being taken into account for points accumulation, and Kinokuniya Malaysia shall not be held liable for such failure, including situations where the KPC member page, mobile, or electronic device on which the Mobile App is installed does not have an active internet connection or electronic communication for any reason whatsoever.
• Points earned from a transaction may take up to twenty-four (24) hours to be reflected in the KPC member app, and redemption of points by a member shall only be allowed with the points already reflected in the KPC member app.
• Kinokuniya Malaysia reserves the right to correct the points balance provided in your Mobile App if they believe that a billing or accounting error has occurred, regardless of whether notice is provided.
• Points collected shall be on a cumulative basis, subject always to the condition that any points collected from a transaction must be redeemed within 12 months from the time the points were earned ("Expiration Date") OR before the membership expires, whichever comes first.
• Kinokuniya Malaysia reserves the right to refuse to award any points or to remove any points awarded if they identify that the points collected were in error or suspect that the points were fraudulently accumulated or in breach of these Terms & Conditions, regardless of whether notice is provided.

POINTS REDEMPTION

• Points can be used to redeem rewards via the KPC Member App. A member may redeem some or all of their points for rewards, subject to complying with the redemption procedures.
• In the event that rewards redeemed with points are not reflected in the Mobile App after twenty-four (24) hours, the affected member shall kindly inform Kinokuniya Malaysia via the "contact us" page of the relevant redemption by providing all relevant information. Failure to do so shall result in the member accepting the points balance as reflected in the KPC member app as correct and final, without any further right to claim unrecorded points, and no further correspondence will be entertained.
• Points will be deducted automatically from the KPC member app based on a first-in, first-out basis upon successful redemption. The points earned at the earliest date will be deducted first, followed by points earned at later dates, until the full points required for redemption are achieved.
• All completed redemptions shall not be revoked, cancelled, returned, or refunded.
• Kinokuniya Malaysia reserves the right to amend, modify, update, change, and/or terminate the rewards and/or items available for redemption at its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notification.
• Kinokuniya Malaysia reserves the right to refuse any points redemption or to remove any rewards redeemed with points if they identify that the points collected were in error or suspect that the points were fraudulently accumulated or in breach of these Terms & Conditions, regardless of whether notice is provided.

REWARDS

• Unless expressly provided under these Terms and Conditions, each of the rewards, particularly rewards other than points, may be subject to other terms and conditions stipulated by Kinokuniya Malaysia.
• All rewards are subject to in-store availability on a "while stocks last" basis and may be applicable to limited (and not all) Kinokuniya Malaysia outlets or particular products only.
• Kinokuniya Malaysia may, at its discretion, replace or substitute any rewards with other rewards of similar or equivalent value without prior notice.
• Any rewards earned are non-transferable, non-assignable, not for sale to any third parties, and not exchangeable for cash.
• Any rewards earned shall only be redeemed at Kinokuniya Malaysia only. Any unutilized rewards after the applicable expiration date shall be forfeited, not reinstated, and not refundable.
• Members shall pay the price difference if the transaction value is higher than the amount of rewards used for redemption. However, in the event where the transaction value is lower than that of the rewards, the price difference will not be refunded.

INTERNET DELAYS

• The KPC member app may be subject to limitations, delays, and other problems inherent in the use of the internet and electronic communications, including the mobile or electronic device used by the member being faulty, not connected, out of range, switched off, or not functioning. Kinokuniya Malaysia shall not be held responsible for any failure to record points accumulation, redemption of points, or other privileges, as well as any other Mobile App usage-related failures, damages, or losses resulting from such problems.

EXCLUSIONS

• Privileges are not valid for purchases of stationery, fossil, stone & mineral, newspaper, magazine, nett-price and promotional items.
• Privileges are valid only upon presentation of your card or E-Member QR code to the cashier before payment.
• Unless otherwise stated, the card cannot be used in conjunction with other cards, on discounted items or during selected promotions.
• The privileges, terms and conditions may be amended or withdrawn without prior notice at the sole discretion of Kinokuniya Book Stores (M) Sdn. Bhd.

NON-TRANSFERABILITY

• The Kinokuniya Privilege Card is intended for individual and/or personal use and is strictly non-transferable. Members must produce identification as and when required.

LOST & DAMAGED CARDS

• Please notify the Customer Service Department immediately.

DISCRETION

• The Kinokuniya Privilege Card is issued by and remains the property of Kinokuniya Book Stores (M) Sdn. Bhd.
• Kinokuniya Book Stores (M) Sdn. Bhd. reserves the right, without prior notice, to decline the issue, re-issue, renewal or replacement of a membership card and to suspend or terminate the right to use the card.
